Membership

The members of Station 50 continue a long tradition of serving with Pride in our community.  Currently we have members that live in our community and beyond.  


Our department operates as a Combination Fire Department.  Meaning we have members who work a part-time schedule and others that are paid-on-call.  


Below you will find information on how to apply and what is required to be a member.

 Below is the criteria that must be met to apply:
 
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have a valid Divers License
  • No prior felony conviction(s).

 You must meet  one  of the following criteria:
  • Live within a 4-mile radius of the Fire Station
  • If you hold an Indiana EMT Cert, you must live within Madison County or an adjacent county, you must be on station when on duty to respond on runs.
